I recently hired Baslow Village Hall for my 70th birthday party.  The booking system is extremely efficient and any queries I had were answered immediately.  The facilities in the hall are first class.  The event took place just after Christmas and the hall was beautifully decorated.  The new furniture and furnishings give the hall a very elegant and welcoming atmosphere and can comfortably seat up to 80 people. The kitchen is fully equipped and provides everything you need to serve food and drinks for guests.  Extras include Wi-Fi, microphone, stage and an additional room for coats etc if needed.  The hire rates are extremely reasonable and I would highly recommend the venue for any social occasion.

As a local society we, the Baslow Garden Society, hire the Village Hall on a regular basis.  The booking form is easy to use, provides you a copy if you want one, and responses are quick.  If you have any queries, these are dealt with efficiently and promptly, providing a great service to anyone wanting to use the space.

When using the space, access is arranged, the kitchen is very well stocked with crockery etc, all well labelled so you can’t go wrong!  The Main Hall has recently been refurbished with new chairs, tables, and decor, all looking great so a good advert for any party, society meeting or other social event.  Use of the Wi-Fi and other IT equipment is also a welcome bonus.
