Directions

The village hall is situated facing the village green with car parking available.

From Chesterfield / Sheffield

Enter Baslow on the A619 passing the ‘Wheatsheaf Hotel’ on your right.  Take the next turn on your left, just before the village green, passing in front of the ‘Devonshire Arms’.  Follow the road round to the right and enter the car park on your left, adjacent to the sweet shop.  The hall is on your right.

From Bakewell / Chatsworth

Turn right at the first roundabout on entering the village onto the A623, following signs for Chesterfield. Go past the sports field on your right, then the Cavendish Hotel.  Take the next right turn, just before the village green, and the village hall is on your immediate right.  Car park entrance is next to the sweet shop. 

From Calver / Tideswell / Manchester 

Enter the village on the A623, go past the church on your right and shops on your left.  At the mini roundabout, bear right, past Rowleys restaurant.  At the roundabout, go straight on following signs for Chesterfield (A619).  Go past the sports field on your right, then the Cavendish Hotel.  Take the next right turn, just before the village green, and the village hall is on your immediate right.  Car park entrance is next to the sweet shop.

Parking at the Village Hall 

The hall has approximately 20 dedicated free parking spaces for its users which are adjacent to the Village Hall boundary wall in the main car park (marked ‘Village Hall Loading’).  Spaces are both along the side entrance and the rear wall.  Please note these spaces can only be used whilst attending an event at the hall and must be vacated immediately after. 

There is also a ‘Pay and Display’ car park adjacent which can accommodate approximately 100 cars. Spaces for disabled users are available. 

There are several free parking spaces on the road outside the front of the hall, and a few ‘30 minute’ free parking spaces in front of the bus shelter.
